The CTET - Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The CTET examination takes place twice a year and all over India at different centers.
The CTET 2012 eligibility test is an exam of qualifying nature for various teaching posts in the following institutions-
- Central Government Institutions like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) or Tibetan schools, NVS etc.
- Schools under the administration of UTs like Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Chandigarh.
- Schools that are under state government.
- Aided Schools
Date of CTET examination 2012 :-The CTET 2012 examination will be conducted on 18th November.
The exam will be held for recruitment for the following posts-
- Primary Stage - Classes I to V teachers
- Elementary Stage - Classes VI to VIII
- Teachers for both the categories
Important Dates:
- Online registration date - Starts August 1 2012.
- Last Date for online registration of CTET 2012 - 31 August 2012
- Last date for receipt of Offline Application Form in CBSE - 7th September 2012
- Last date for receipt of Offline Application Form in CBSE (Remote Areas) - 14th September 2012
- CTET Examination Date - 18 November 2012 (Sunday)
a) Paper 1 : 10.30 am to 12 pm
b) Paper 2 : 1:30 pm to 3 pm
