UGC NET December 2013 Notification & Application Form

University Grants Commission is inviting application for National Eligibility Test for junior research fellowship and lectureship. The applications are invited online. The official notification for UGC NET 2013 will be released in September 2013. The Notification is expected to be released in the last week of september 2013. The UGC NET 2013 examination will be held on the last sunday of December 2013. The examination date of UGC NET 2013 will hence be December 29 - the last sunday of December 2013.

Here are the details of the exam:-

Age Limit for UGC NET December 2013

For the Junior Research Fellow the age limit is 28 years. For SC/ST and OBC the age will be relaxed by 5 years.

Lectureship: No upper limit.

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET December 2013

Required criteria is 55% marks in the concerned subject.

Exam Time Duration

Paper 1&2: 9.30 A.M. to 12.00 noon

Paper 3: 1.30 P.M. to 4 P.M.

Application fee:

Rs. 450 for general candidates

Rs. 225 for OBC and 110 for others

How to Apply for UGC NET December 2013 exam

The application form has to be filled online. The candidates can fill the form online on www.ugc.ac.in or www.ugcnetonline.in through the apply link available on the website. After registering deposit the application fee via challan form.

Other Details

There will be 3 objective papers with no negative marking

Paper 1: candidates need to attempt only 50 out of 60 questions. 2 marks each

Paper 2: 50 questions. 2 marks each. No choice.

Paper 3: 75 questions. 2 marks each. No choice.

UPPRPB had recently rolled out a notification for the recruitment of police constables and the UPPRPB had to organise a written examination for the same. Both online and offline notifications were invited for these posts of constables. The last date of the form submission was August 20, 2013. These recruitment were being made for the post Policeman, PAC and fireman posts! According to the present records, over 22 lakh candidates have registered for this recruitment exam. There are a total of 35500 posts for constables , 4033 posts for PAC personnel, and 2077 posts of firemen.

The candidates who applied for the UP Police Constable Examination 2013, can download their exam hall ticket for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2013 that is to be held on 27 October and 10 November 2013. According to fresh reports published in newspapers the notification for 29334 vacancies of teachers that were to be filled by Maths and Science BTC / B.Ed. qualified candidates has now been postponed. The news is really disappointing for BTC / B.Ed. candidates who were waiting eagerly for applying for the post of Junior Maths or Science Teacher in UP. Now the registration for the post of Junior Teacher of Maths and Science will start on August 29, 2013. This step was taken as a result of the huge traffic that the upbasiceduboard.gov.in website is facing due to the BTC application.

This is the first time that the government has taken such a huge step to fill in these vacant posts that were lying vacant from some time. The G.O. for upper Primary Teacher Recruitment has been already issued. Through this exam for which the registration starts on August 29, 2013 the candidates will be allocated schools coming under Basic Shiksha Parishad !

UPSC IES and ISS Examination Recruitment Notification 2013

The UPSC - Union Public Services Commission has issued notification regarding the IES and ISS Recruitment 2013. The IES is the Indian Economic Services while ISS is the Indian Statistical Service Examination. The examination notification was published on August 17. You can also find the official advertisement of this recruitment in this week's (August 17 to August 23, 2013) employment news newspaper. The exam will be held for filling in grade 4 posts and the examination would be combined for recruitment to both these services. There are a total of 66 posts for grade 4 vacancies of Indian Economics Service and Indian Statistical Service. You need to apply online for IES and ISS 2013 Recruitment. The candidates have to fill in the application form before September 16, 2013 for being eligible for exam of IES and ISS.

13. Now you have to fill the Part II of the form.
14. After paying fees as in Step 11 and 12 click on Submit Form.
15. It will redirect you to a complete form. Enter your details and then you will be redirected to the form.
