The UPSC - Union Public Services Commission has issued notification regarding the IES and ISS Recruitment 2013. The IES is the Indian Economic Services while ISS is the Indian Statistical Service Examination. The examination notification was published on August 17. You can also find the official advertisement of this recruitment in this week's (August 17 to August 23, 2013) employment news newspaper. The exam will be held for filling in grade 4 posts and the examination would be combined for recruitment to both these services. There are a total of 66 posts for grade 4 vacancies of Indian Economics Service and Indian Statistical Service. You need to apply online for IES and ISS 2013 Recruitment. The candidates have to fill in the application form before September 16, 2013 for being eligible for exam of IES and ISS.

Application form fees: Rs. 200 (OBC and General Candidates)
Eligibility Conditions: The candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age as on August 1, 2013.
How to Apply for IES/ISS Examination 2013: Candidates will have to apply online via UPSCs official website - www.upsconline.nic.in
Exam Pattern: The IES /ISS examination will be held in two parts. Part I will constitute a written test and will consist of 1000 marks and will be of 3 hours duration. Part II will be an interview.
