Commissioner Exam Answers 2016 cutoff.
UPSC conducted the much awaited APFC - Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Exam on January 10, 2016. The notiffication was released in June 2015 for 170 posts. The exam this time consisted of more questions from maths part & less from GS. This took the aspirants by surprise. There were 120 questions that were to be attempted in 120 minutes only and with majority of them being from maths. These 120 minutes therefore proved to be insufficient.
The cutoff this time is being expected to fall below the previous exam's cutoff that was 66 (for General Category). However, this time the cutoff is not expected to fall below 68-70 for General category (out of 100) because this time only 170 posts are to be filled, so cutoff is expected to shoot up. There would not be much difference between OBC and General cutoffs with OBC cutoff expected to hover around 64-66 this time. The cutoff for SC/ST is expected to be around 55.
