CTET - Central Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education every year. This CTET examination makes primary and secondary teachers eligible for teaching in any school across the country. The cut-off of CTET examination is 60%, i.e. 90 marks out of 150 marks. The CTET examination is conducted every year. In 2011 the examination was conducted in June 2011, while it was conducted twice in 2012, first time CTET January 2012 and then CTET November 2012. The CTET examination is of great importance and lakhs of teachers all across the country give this examination to get certified by the CBSE for getting eligible to apply in schools across the country.

The CTET examination is generally conducted twice a year as in 2012. This year the examination conducted on July 28,2013.
